Smoke in the Area from Arizona Fire; Red Flag Warning

30 Apr 2018 09:00 #1 by MountainTownAlerts

Reminder: we are under a Red Flag Warning today from 10a-7p in Jeffco and eastern Park County. There is a lot of smoke in the area they believe is coming in from the large fire in Arizona. Our fire departments have been on a few smoke checks this morning already, but nothing found here as of yet (thank goodness). If you see a plume of smoke or visible flames, please call it in to Jeffcom 911 immediately. If you suffer from asthma or respiratory complications, you might want to stay inside if at all possible.

Really hazy in South Park. Hopefully the rains come and clean the skies and reduce fire danger this week.
