LUCKY dogs who went home this week include Maximillian, Rugby, and Puck--all ADOPTED!

New arrivals who need homes are:
Wilbur! 1 yr old male border collie mix, loves other dogs and people, wants a HOME...

Wally...buddy to Wilbur and also about a year old, male border collie mix. Sweet and fun-loving boy!

Blake, 1 - 2 yr old male Australian cattle dog mix, awesome black eye patch (those are good luck you know). Blake just got here today but he was terrific for his bath and seems to like other dogs...

***New dogs arrived TODAY*** Please come by to meet the new pups. While we typically focus on transferring dogs from local shelters that are overburdened, we agreed to accept a transfer of 3 dogs this wknd from a shelter in Florida that sent out a desperate plea after they reached a capacity of 175 dogs and began euthanizing healthy, friendly dogs on arrival due to overcrowding...IMHS stepped in to the rescue for these girls:

Olive, 3 yr old pint-sized female, wonderfully sweet! She's got a really cute foxy look about her:

Sophie! 1 yr old female Lab/Shep mix, loves other dogs and people...

Summer! 2 yr old Lab mixed with Shepherd or possibly hound, also very sweet and loves people and other dogs...

**See last post about the 1st group of dogs from today's transport** Little Olive who arrived today...ADOPTED already!

We got a frantic call from the FL transporters that they had one leftover dog after all their CO stops so we told them to bring the last dog to us. Here she is, and we've named her Joy:

Joy is about 1 yr old, Lab mix, sweet and playful, sits beautifully at the front of her kennel and is very people-focused.

Lucky dogs who went HOME this week include Sophie, Wally, and Maggie!

New arrivals from the past few days include:

Archie, 3 yr old male Shih Tzu, sweet and loveable as can be! Loves people of all ages, and other dogs...

And Cleo! 9 month old St. Francis Terrier female, great with people and other dogs...don't be fooled by the thumbnail photo- that's no evil stare, she has one blue eye (for good luck)...

Savannah, 7 mos old St. Bernard mix, lovely girl! Likes other dogs and seems OK w/ cats, too...

Remi- 6 mos. old male Lab mix, delightful pup! Wants a playmate and a best friend for life:

Buster- I love Buster! 1 yr old male mostly-border collie, shy at first but warms up nicely. I see SO much potential in this boy!

I'll be at the shelter with volunteers on Thanksgiving and if anyone is interested in adoption, swing by the shelter before 2pm to meet the animals! I'd absolutely love to send some animals home for the holidays!!

Chico! An good all-American mutt-buddy, truly! A 1 1/2 yr old mostly-lab, Chico loves people and other dogs:
