- Danny, 1 yr big red Labrador Retr/Shepherd mix, sweet, loves to play-bow, a face with eyes to penetrate your soul!

- George, 5-yr Chihuahua petite and handsome

- Bob Henry, in all his floppy-eared beagle gloriousness, perfect as they come, a dear senior pal, loves other dogs and daily walks

I want to hear about Tank, seriously. How old? Neutered when you got him? How is he on a leash or harness. Background? Surrender or stray? any background?

He is a beautiful dog.

He is 6 or 7. Neutered. Great on a leash. Surrender. Yes he has a history. There is a thread on Pinecam about him.

Just to clarify, I read that Pinecam thread and assumed Tank has been adopted. Then I realised the thread was from a year ago.

So I assume Tank is still available. Right?

Thanks for the info. Singing and talking? Nothing better than a Mal saying hello, or singing a little song. I just dont think we have an adequate enclosure for him. We are still looking for a female though, under 4. Keep us on the list.

Tank was surrendered thru Pinecam a year ago. Then his new family had to give him up too. So yes, he is up for adoption thru IMHS.

And OMG, he is sweet!

Golden Retriever mix Sunny, 7 yrs old, loves people & dogs

New arrival Rajah, 3 yrs old Shepherd mix, great with people & other dogs

Matthew, 1 1/2 - 2 yrs, loves to play with other dogs, great disposition, Irish Wolfhound or Giant Schnauzer mix

Danny, 10 mos old or so, red Labrador Retr x, a big puppy, smart and responsive, submissive and sweet with people and other dogs

Puck, 10 wk old cattle dog mix puppy, SMART!, will make a great agility dog

Having trouble getting to the shelter? NO problem!--we're open every day (11am - 4pm) and have evening hours til 7pm on Wednesdays! If you can only manage mornings, give us a call and we're happy to accomodate your visit prior to 11am so you can meet the animals available for adoption.

All IMHS animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated & given de-wormer prior to adoption. Most animals are available to go home at the time of adoption, and NOTHING makes us happier than sending animals into their forever homes! GREAT new arrivals at IMHS needing homes- what a fabulous group this is!

Skipper, 2 yr old doxie mix, 18 pounds of LOVE

Hailey, 4 yr old Samoyed/husky mix with caramel eyes, LOVES other dogs!

Holly, retriever/spaniel mix pup, 6 mos, look at those gorgeous blue eyes!!

Dear Heidi...a loveable Rottweiler, 5 - 6 yrs, likes other dogs, this was the rollover for belly-rub shot....

And Heidi doing a nice "down" for the camera- what a good girl!!

Copper, Great Dane/Shep mix- a GREAT combination! only 8 mos, getting taller by the day:

All the dogs currently in our care play well with other dogs.

Heidi the Rottie would do best in a home with a firm but gentle leader who is knowledgable about her breed. She's trained, smart as a whip, loves to lean in for attention and flop over for belly rubs, but is possessive over rawhides. A typical mature Rottie, only better!

We're open 7 days/week...come meet them, and help spread the word!
