My Mountain Town 2014 Pick 5 Contest!

07 Oct 2014 16:03 #211 by PrintSmith
I'm pretty pleased with myself. How many people can have exactly a .500 outcome with an odd number of games played? Just Mtngirl and me. I'd say that's at least as difficult as going 5-0 for one week . . .

And no more picking SC's Bengals for me this year. They're just good enough to break your heart - reminds me of that Cutler guy we got rid of a few years ago.

I'm going to start with Indy as well.

PS, I haven't picked the Bengals all year, partly because I can't be objective when it comes to them, and partly because I didn't want to jinx them. Heartbreaking is a good word to describe them. :(

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Updated opening spreads. They didn't post a couple of the OFF but I took the avg between others posted, so we are going with this.

I'll go with Indy for tonight and post the rest of my picks later.

Who cares what the spread is. It's a Thursday night game and should be a slaughter again. You just have to pick the right team...
