Fire near the Historic Platte River (Lower North Fork Fire) was created by MountainScannerTeam
A controlled burn now out of control is up to 5 acres. Authorities asking for crews from North Fork. Fire is near the Historic Platte River Hotel 6 mi east of Foxton.

(Single Engine Air Tanker) has been ordered but due to winds may not be able to fly.

No evacuations at this time, per Jacki Kelley, Jeffco PIO.

Jacki Kelley from Jeffco reporting this was a controlled burn from last week that re-ignited.

Scanner Monitor: Hearing reports that parts of Foxton road have been or going to be closed.

Evacuations possible shortly. Jeffco fire named "Lower North Fork Fire"

Foxton Rd is now Closed at Hwy 285.

"Lower North Fork Fire" at 10-acres plus; Fire dept. closing Foxton Rd. from Reynolds Ranch to the River Rd. for fire traffic
