NEW FROM TELLER COUNTY - 12:29 P.M. - Pre-evacuation orders issued for Woodland Park (East of Safeway, north of Safeway to Rampart Range Rd. and South of Edlow). Pre-evacuation means prepare to evacuate by getting important documents and medications together and stay tuned to local media for info

9 News is reporting that they are hearing that stuctures are being lost in the Flying W Ranch area (Waldo Fire)

Air Force Academy has been put on pre-evac notice.

A firefighter told Colorado Springs Gazette reporter Ryan Maye Handy today that during a briefing, crews learned that 200 to 300 homes have been lost. He said it was difficult to be accurate about the number, since the devastation is so complete that you can’t even make out addresses.
