The Teller County Sheriff's Office have placed the High Chateau subdivision on pre-evacuation as a new fire has flared up in the area.
It's burning on County Road 11 near mile marker 9 and Teller County Road 1 in central Teller County west of Evergreen Station.
At least 2 acres of forest land were burning early Friday afternoon in the area of Four Mile Fire Protection.
One structure is burning and at least one other was threatened. It's unknown if those structures are homes.

A fire in Teller County leads to mandatory evacuations for the entire High Chateau and Highland Meadows subdivision near County Road 11.
People living in the area are advised to get out now. If necessary you can call 719-687-9652 if there are any emergencies.
According to a spokesperson, the fire started on 2 acres of forested land before impacting one structure.
The evacuation point is Cripple Creek High School. Livestock can be taken to the Cripple Creek Fairgrounds.

A fire in Teller County has burned an estimated 417 acres and forced mandatory evacuations for the High Chateau and Highland Meadows subdivision Friday afternoon.
No structures were lost as of Friday night at 8 p.m. Deputies say the fire is moving to the north/northeast.
Firefighters told News 5 that they are focused on protecting structures that could be threatened by the fire. It is 0 percent contained.
The Teller County Sheriff's Office said a total of 111 homes were evacuated. Fremont/Teller County Road 11, also known as High Park Road is closed as is Teller County Road 111.

Around noon Saturday, the High Chateau Fire in Teller County was reported at 662 acres with 4 - 5 structures lost.. A new fire size is expected this afternoon as crews are able to better survey the impacted region.
The Park County Sheriff's Office updated that the fire is starting to move into Park County as of Saturday afternoon.
Colorado Springs firefighters are in the are assisting local crews with two Type 6 engines and a battalion chief.
Full mandatory evacuation notices were given in Park County just after 3 p.m. for Park Ridge, Doe Valley, Pike Meadow, Four Mile Ranch, Olson Slater Creek and Ponderosa subdivisions between 8826 County Road 100 and County Road 102 between Country Road 71 and the Teller County Line.

UPDATE 1 hour agoPre Evacuation Status: La Montana Mesa, Las Brisas, Ranch Resorts behind Evergreen station, Evergreen Station, Lazy M Ranch, Lazy BM Ranch. All of east of Teller 1 and Teller 11 are on Pre evacuation.
UPDATE 4 hours agoCounty Road 12 is on mandatory evacuation on both sides. Teller one from County Road 11 to County Road 12 is on mandatory evacuation on the westside. County Road 12 is closed from here on out. Please be sure to sign up for Nixle.Com and get updated reports on evacuations and pre-evacuation notices.
At this time 661 acres have been burned and there is 0% containment. There are no new evacuations as of last night. Air drops occured last night to start a fire line. For those that have been evacuated we are asking you to prepare for 24-48 hours, at least. Law enforcement officials are stationed at each subdivision entrance. Some subdivisions have power shut off to their residences, IREA is on scene. Road closures remain the same as before.
There is a place to request medications and prescriptions at the shelter in Cripple Creek at the high school through Red Cross. Pets (dogs and cats) are allowed but must be crated.
A temporary triage tent has been set up through Public Health at Evergreen Station. 4-5 structures have been lost at this time and we are unable to determine what structures they are at this time. We wil be notifying home owners. We are unable to determine the way the fire is moving right now, becuase of the wind change.
If you are in the area of the fire, please, PREPARE NOW, DO NOT WAIT! Make sure your vehicles are fueled up and ready
to go. There are no confirmations of injuries or deaths at this time.

Donations are being accepted at the Teller County Sheriff's Office. There is a request for chapstick, sunblock and throat lozenges. Please bring these items to the Sheriff's Office and do not take them to Four Mile Fire.
