Update on the Wildfire and Evacuation Near Lake George


Park County, CO – The wildland fire near Lake George, referred to as the 403IC Fire, is now burning approximately ½ mile from the Teller County line. Unknown acreage and unknown containment at this time, as multiple agencies continue their response efforts. Below is the latest fire map showing the current fire location and evacuation zone.

Important update regarding EVACUATION ORDER near County Road 403. At 8:20 PM, power and gas will be cut off to the south of Highway 24 and west Teller 1 to the County line. This should mostly impact the Wilson Lakes and Forest Glenn subdivisions.
