CPL HARDEY an EMBARASSMENT...

18 Apr 2011 22:07 - 19 Apr 2011 08:58 #1 by AV8OR
Just happened to be watching 9NEWS and noticed that the Park County Sheriff's Office made the news. This time, an "embarassment to the Sheriff's Office of PARK COUNTY!

Is there oversight in the SO?

An Embarassment...that's an understatement....Wegener can't even speak intelligently. How many more "strikes" before he's FIRED... ohhh yeahhh....according to good ol' Fred...."3" like in "baseball"...give us a break FRED....do the right thing...Hardy should have been fired...2nd demotion and still has a job?!?!?! He has broken the rules of the PARK COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL- CONDUCT RULES AND REGULATIONS. Maybe Fred needs a refresher course on POLICY!!!!!

IMHO the entire COUNTY of ELECTED OFFICALS is an "Embarassment" to Park County.

Of course, does this deflect from a deeper incident that may have happened at the party? A former SRO is going to start feeling left out.

From the News 9 post, he and his wife INVITED the underage individual to the party. I had to read it twice to see if that is what I had really read.

What a disappointing county we live in.

I guess I'll reserve condemnation until I get more facts. From what I've read he did not personally serve the girl any alcohol, so at this point it's not clear to me what exactly he did, or what cerime he commited..

so many complaints to the district attorney's office that have been overlooked by sheriff wegener. wegener, gore down to hardey are an embarrassment and should be fired.

but really hardey can't control his frontal lobe nor his party hardy lifestyle and will continue with his stupid behavior and conduct unbecoming. he will just try harder not to get caught. thanks to whomever had the decency to turn him in.

IMO, the issue is, why did he allow her/him to stay regardless of whether he thought the underage person would not drink. At an adult party, with drinking, an unsupervised underage person is a no-no.

The perception is often worse than the behavior. That could be the case here. If he had lack of judgement on this event, that lack of judgement could extend to his job performance.

I don't have all the facts either, but these are some thoughts that the public has.

I know you want him to be guilty of more than that, but do you really think something "deeper" could happen and not be reported along with the drinking? Is that just speculation on your part? IMO, what happened was bad enough. It's apparently not a crime, but maybe it should be if a law officer is involved. Throwing other unfounded accusations around deflects from the seriousness of the reality and undermines the discussion.

I would imagine one would have to ask the "experts" who have been or are currently still in thePCSOs employ?
