That was nothing more than the failed policies that brought about the collapse of the entire housing market, the same as the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac programs. For all intents and purposes nothing changed even though we had all those toxic assets already. A First Time Buyers program did nothing for those who already had homes and were losing them.

In terms of the oil he could stop impeding the attempts to drill for oil, like in the gulf, today Shell announced it was having problems with the EPA over there attempts to drill 70 miles off the coast of Alaska. He went to Brazil and gave them tax payers money to drill and said we would like to be their customers.

The problem is that he has no idea of how to LEAD!

He has no experience at anything that can help this country.

Well, I think the housing market had been nosediving since well before Obama inherited the situation. If I remember correctly, it all pretty much started blowing up in 2008. I think the house buying incentive was a good thing. Wish I could have jumped on that.

Again, drilling for oil still puts that refined gas years out. Maybe I'm wrong? What money to Brazil are you talking about? Is it this thing from 18 months ago?

Nmysys says you have a majority on this board, and you probably do....yet instead of welcoming other points of view you all gang up and squelch anything other than your own party line, and when that doesn't work, you start whining that the liberals are being mean to you.

I sometimes want to understand your (genaric your) point of view, I think I can find a few examples.
