Looney Jerk obviously hears what she wants to hear - I listened to this video clip....it's amazing how the leftist like Looney Jerk try to spin everything Bush said and did. They punished him for playing golf during the war....where's the messyiah when they were preparing the mission for OBL? They had to pull Obama off the golf course.
Thanks President Bush for making sure our military had their supplies, the mission was clear, and they were able to catch Osama Bin Laden and kill many of his followers and fighters.
I don't doubt that Osama is dead, or that he was killed just this week. But the whole thing about him not having a weapon is 0% credible. Is Obama trying to make him look weak and un-masculine by lying about his manner of death? If so, he's also discrediting the SEALs.
If he was unarmed then he could have been taken alive and tried. I've heard so many conflicting reports about this event.
Jesus, you are dumb... They have 14 SEALS on this mission... Like any other eye-witness accounts, you have 14 different recollections of how it went down, and they just had a formal debriefing meeting yesterday to get all the versions of the story, and when they have sorted through them they will have a coherent story to put out. In the meantime, the first couple of stories were related to the administration, and every news service in the world is sticking a microphone in their faces and asking, "How did it go down?" You think there might not be some corrections to be made from initial on-the-scene reports from 14 different people?
Or, are you assuming that the Administration, (who is correcting the story themselves as more information is received), is somehow trying to manipulate the story just to piss you off?

Good grief.....it has nothing to do with politics LH. Kresspin had the wonderful idea to use a pic of her late mother as her avatar in celebration of Mother's Day coming up and some of the rest of us took her lead. Personally, I love the idea.

Gotta say I watched the video too. And what the left has been attacking Bush for all these years is a minor part of what he said in the full context of the question he was asked. Yes, he could of worded it better (hey, it's Bush), but give me a break.

You have got to be kidding me. You people sure have short memories. Bush making sure our military had supplies? Mothers were saving up to send their kids in the military kevlar jackets and basic supplies like kleenex. But I'm sure none of the Haliburton execs had to get care packages from home.
And if the mission was clear, and all the credit is due to Bush, why didn't he get Osama bin Laden? I'll tell you why he didn't, it's because it wasn't important to him!
The only use he had for bin Laden was to stir up support for his war in Iraq. Which in spite of all the drivel you guys spew about it being about saving poor oppressed Iraqis was about one thing and one thing only - PROFIT.
