I don't give a rats ass what he or Clinton do behind closed doors, or in the White House or in their Congressional office. Just don't tell me that you are against it while doing it.
And perhaps you missed as well the problem with Clinton wasn't his philandering, it was his committing perjury while under oath. That same man took another oath - a presidential oath. If his sworn oath to tell the truth in a court of law meant nothing to him, what then are we to derive regarding the other sworn oaths he has taken?
Where did you get that I missed that? I must admit that you are a master of spinning a discussion away from the topic.
It bothers me greatly that Clinton lied under oath, but that is not what we are discussing. I hope you've been reading, because this will be the third time that I've explained that I have no cares about what sexual behavior people do behind closed doors, or in front of open doors for that matter. What I care about is someone, like Gingrich, who campaigns on family values, on moral majority, engaging in the very behavior that he is condemning. That is hypocrisy, and it bothers me greatly.
Marriage is supposed to be a sacred institution, right? The Clinton's are still married to each other, the only one each other has ever married and Newt has been married and divorced how many times?

I know some people believe that politician's personal lives are of no concern to us, but I feel if you can't stay loyal to your spouse, why should I trust anything else you say?
In some cases, marriages are just shams and the couple will agree to look the other way about extracurricular activities, possibly the Clintons. But when I saw Bea Romer at that press conference with Roy Romer and BJ, I lost all respect for the Colorado governor.

Gingrich is amazing. He cannot see who he is or what he is. He suffers from a malady that infects all politicians.
Th' applause of list'ning senates to command,
The threats of pain and ruin to despise,
To scatter plenty o'er a smiling land,
And read their history in a nation's eyes,
The struggling pangs of conscious truth to hide,
To quench the blushes of ingenuous shame,
Or heap the shrine of Luxury and Pride
With incense kindled at the Muse's flame.

If a man will betray a person who serves him from motivation of love and trust, who raises their children, who helps him in times of pain and hurt, who tends his bookkeeping, nurses him in sickness, cooks his meals, keeps his house, and shares his dreams, shares his bed, then what will he do to us?
What will he do to those who do nothing for him and he does not know?
Marital unfaithfulness displays a extremely gigantic character flaw that dominates his personality.
There are plenty of principled true conservatives who will run. I don't understand why so many on the right will shun them in favor of blowhards like Newt, Palin and Trump.
There will be many principled Democrats that might decide to run against Obama, but so many will shun them, just as in the Republican Party.
Even though some have announced, and Obama is already campaigning, rest assured that there will be many surprising twists and turns before next year.
If you will notice, except for Major Bean, most, if not all of the comments made so far on this thread were made by Liberals who wouldn't vote for Gingrich for any reason. When any name appears here of someone thinking of running or being talked about, that is on the Right, the comments start up immediately vilifying them.
