Another failed Obama promise: Transparency

At a time when people are realizing all the attempts by the Obama adminstration to push agenda through the Executive Branch, as opposed to the Legislative process (or "under the radar" on a related gun control post in the Courthouse), now they reneg on the promise of transparency...hmmm.

He hasn't lived up to that promise at all so far; it's just one of the reasons that I am disappointed in his presidency so far.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Obama ran on Real Change- If he was honest he should have run on "slight change" or 'barely detectable change".

He's been bought and paid for by the Banks

What a joke to attempt to blame the lack of transparency on budget cuts!

Transparency depends upon a desire to communicate what is actually being done, not on faked transparency sites. This administration has shown no interest in communicating the facts, just in trying to manipulate what is perceived as facts.

Dangerous Precedent for Press

A little more than a week ago, Vice President Joe Biden traveled to fundraisers in two battleground-state cities, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.

Neither stop included the White House press corps; requests by local media to cover the events were denied by the vice president's press office. The Democratic National Committee arranged the events for the Obama Victory Fund.

A number of seasoned political reporters and former White House press-office staffers consider that lack of coverage a dangerous precedent.

"It would behoove the Obama administration to keep its promise of transparency even with fundraisers," agrees Jeff Brauer, a political history professor at Keystone College. "The United States is a democracy, after all.".......................

Ah....Where were you cry babies when Bush was president? It's not like Obama is trying to take the country into a 3 trillion dollar war based on a pack of lies or anything...
