So I keep reading all of these posts and threads how the 'Tea Party' is so bad, and the people and nuts. Can some of you people who keep saying this, point out specifically what it is that you don't like about what the Tea Party believes in? I never hear specifics. Just generalizations about how far out there they are.
And maybe on the flip side, can some of you who are in and / or support the Tea Party, explain what specifics that you believe the Tea Party people and candidates have that can help this country. And what issues they believe in that the majority of Americans also believe in. This way maybe it can enlighten those on the left who keep saying they are nuts and far out there just because the MSM tells them they are.
Maybe this thread can educate some and makes others realize that they really don't know why they keep saying the things they do as they don't really have any specifics.
Here is just a part of what they stand for. Please explain which part of this you think is extreme?
The Tea Party movement is a grassroots movement of millions of like-minded Americans from all backgrounds and political parties. Tea Party members share similar core principles supporting the United States Constitution as the Founders intended, such as:
• Limited federal government
• Individual freedoms
• Personal responsibility
• Free markets
• Returning political power to the states and the people
As a movement, The Tea Party is not a political party nor is looking to form a third political party any time soon. The Tea Party movement, is instead, about reforming all political parties and government so that the core principles of our Founding Fathers become, once again, the foundation upon which America stands.
The best post I have seen regarding the Tea Party is this one, by PS - <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="
