How long has she been oput of this "church".
oblama would still be in his Hate Whitey chruch if it wasn't for him running for a 2nd term, he also brain washed his kids for 20 years.
WHY did Mrs. Bachamann leave this "chruch? When? For Politicial Reasons? or Could it be because she didn't agree with what was being preached?
For me & archer: Source Please
EDITED: I know the brats aren't 20 years old, so I'll say their whole lifes.
Six days before she declared, she resigned from the church. Why? Political reasons? Do you think if she wasn't running for President, she would still be a member of that church? Maybe? Just maybe?
Six days before Bachmann officially launched her presidential campaign last month, the Minnesota Republican and her family verbally requested to leave Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Minn., which is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
Why do you give her a pass and not Obama for identical behavior?

So, you admit that it is the content of the message that makes you a hypocrite. Thanks for clarifying that.
When Obama sits in a church that has messages with which you do not agree, it's different. Yet, when Bachmann sits in a church that calls the Pope of billions of people "the anti-christ," you're okay with that. Gotcha.

I don't see you being critical of her like you are of Obama. I'd call that a pass.TPP wrote: Never said I gave her "a pass" did I?
Google. It's a wonderful thing.TPP wrote: I see quote but no links... (huff&puffington post?, NYtimes, airless America (are they even around anymore?))
But Obama has answered. You just refuse to read what he has written. Again, you can google it.TPP wrote: IF it is true she did it for politiical reasons, than she's like oblama, and needs to be called out on it, and maybe she'll answer, unlike oblama...
Her church called the Pope the "anti-christ." That's pretty serious.TPP wrote: Did her chruch HATE or not haven't heard any of her preachers' preaching have you?
Not to my knowledge. Yet that is irrelevant, since she sat in the pews, absorbing the doctrine of the Pope being the anti-christ for 10 years.TPP wrote: Also has she declared that her pastor is/was her mentor?
You know for a fact that everyone on the left is not Christian? Amazing. How do you get these omniscient superpowers?TPP wrote: And why would the left care if a Christain calls another Christain names, they don't Beleive in the first place.
How do you know that Santa Clause isn't the anti-christ?TPP wrote: And How do you know the pope isn't the anti-christ?
And we do know that Michelle Bachmann thinks the Pope is the anti-christ.TPP wrote: We do know that oblama listen to the HATEFUL speech of wright...

Again, your liberal spin doesn't work on me. Especially with incoherent ramblings. But thank you for playing too! You amuse and humor me.

Ok LJ, here's a question I'm dying to hear your direct answer to, yet I know I won't get one. Do you think Obama is dilusional?LadyJazzer wrote: Nope... I'm an atheist... And I don't care....
I repeat: Why would you think I personally care what one group of delusional people think about another group of delusional people? Do you think I give a flip?
It's not "good" or "bad"...It's irrelevant....

Speaking up for Methodists here-a primary belief in the UMC in America is the Order to "think and let think". Methodists are encourage to study with this in mind:pineinthegrass wrote: Here are some issues I have with this thread.
First of all, the liberal sites are making it sound like Bachmann was a member of some crazy little podunk church with wild ideas. That's not the case, this antichrist idea is very wide spread in Lutheran churches as well as Seventh day-Adventist, and some Methodists as well. It's based on the writings of Martin Luther.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist_(historicism)#Confessional_Lutherans
Bachmann's church was one of among nearly 1300 churches in this country with nearly 400,000 members (WELS). The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod believes this too, and they have over 2.4 million members. This is pretty mainstream stuff, for Lutherans at least. Are you going to make fun of Democrat Lutherans as well? Here's a list of 15 Lutherans in Congress from one Lutheran denomination, and 10 of them are Democrats, so have at it!...

Why not just ask Bachmann what she believes, and leave the church out of it? Many liberals did when they voted for John Kerry whose Catholic Church opposes abortions and gay marriage (as I assume most Christain churches do), and believe homosexuality to be a sin. Plus Catholic's have many rituals you could of made fun of, had it been a conservative.
While we're at it, when are we going to have a thread about the wacky things Mitt Romney's Morman Church believes as well? Oh wait, Harry Reid is Morman.
Obama's situation was one wacky minister in one church. Here we are talking about thousands of churches and millions of members. And the liberal talking point researchers are picking on something that's been around hundreds of years in numerous protestant chuches. And like I said, you can find stuff like this in most any church you choose.
And you can also research just what they mean by the antichrist. It's not the red guy with the horns. It has more to do with a disagreement on how to worship, but I'm no expert on it.
