Are you saying that these tea partiers are not republicans? Is the movement based on republican ideals or are you saying a group has infiltrated the republican party because as far as I know there is still only two parties. And the tea party is not one of them. I am just trying to get your thinking here. Are they one and the same?

Gulf stocks drop after US credit downgrade

DUBAI — Gulf stock markets dropped on Sunday a day after Saudi shares tumbled over five percent as news of the historic US credit downgrading sent jitters through the region's markets.
Following the Muslim weekend, the Dubai Financial Market Index opened trading down 4.5 percent before clawing back some ground to end the day 3.69 percent weaker at 1,484.31 points.

Ratings Agency Hypocrites

S&P’s downgrade carries a large dose of irony, since the extra debt the U.S. has piled on recently came courtesy of S&P's moronic toxic asset ratings.

It's actually sick to watch you tea partiers cheer this on.... you wanted it, you got it.... and really, YOU own it.

Evidence?

But rather than boo those who claim the tea party caused the downgrade, the 200 or so Wisconsinites in attendance cheered, sounding almost proud to be blamed for the downgrade.

I expected a 500 point drop, maybe now 600 is more like it.

The only thing to do now is take a page from Perry's book of governing and pray that the Tea Party finally comes to it's senses and works with the rest of congress on a realistic plan to cut the deficit, balance the budget, and increase the amount of revenue from either tax increases, or fixing the tax code to eliminate the loopholes.....a few subsidies removed would help as well.

Nah.......that has as much chance of happening as Perry's prayers to end the drought.

Guess you are liking to make things up too? Who is cheering this on? I have many people I know who are losing a lot of money due to this. And now you guys want to make it political again? You guys will use any disastor to make it political and blame Bush, Republicans and the Tea Party. Many of you really need to look up the definition for Personal Responsibility. I won't stoop to your level of saying that you cheer for bad news to blame any Republican for it, but the facts are pretty clear.

So you use the video of 200 misguided people out of 300 million to say that is what the Tea Party must want? That is an LJ post.
