Anyone else note the timing of this event? Labor Day weekend. When will someone point out he isn't a Vegas act or working for Hollywood? Hey grandiose delusional rockstar, either you have a plan or you're working on one. Stop the theatrics.
Well, somebody in the government has to come up with a jobs program. The Republican House sure isn't doing it, and they campaigned on jobs jobs jobs, remember?

The only jobs program a government can come up with is one for government jobs - which is the last thing we need more of at this point in time. What we need is a smaller government that spends less of the fruits of the national production every year than the 25% share that Obama seems to feel is the smallest amount of other people's money the DC government can exist on from here on out.
We keep asking the wrong questions. The first question we need to answer is not what is the fair share of the tax burden for the millionaires and billionaires. The first question we need a definitive answer to is what percentage of the national production is the "fair share" for DC to spend every year. I can tell you it isn't 25%, 33% or 40%, that much is certain. But what is the "fair share" that DC is "entitled" to and that it should confine itself to spending? As long as it's 25% or more, there are not going to be any jobs coming to reduce the unemployment number. The money that should be going to investing in jobs will continue to be sunk into buying Treasury Notes for as long as we are running annual budget deficits in excess of $1 Trillion dollars a year, that much I can guarantee you.
