Yes, I'm famous for my lack of humor. I am the most humorless person around.

You can have my caffeine when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I do have all of Palin's episodes of her Alaska show on DRV.

I appreciate the fact that she's Alaskan (her family and mine fish the same body of water).

I share many of her interests (shooting, fishing, hiking).

I think she's enjoying the fame without going through the pain of running for high office.

I doubt she'll run for office - a failure would lower her speaking fees too much,
and she doesn't have enough pull to win.

AND what do you appreciate about her exiting Alaska's Gov.office abruptly, leaving MANY pending items/issues/problems flapping in the wind? CORRECTION...Palin is NOT a sourdough. Palin is a self-serving,HIGHLY egotistical individual who created a persona for herself and then proceeded to promote that persona in multiple ways.......and is NOW a
multi-millionaire for her efforts...... :bash

Before the 2008 election, liberals were saying that being the governor of Alaska wasn't that big of a deal..then when she left it was like she was abandoning a sinking ship. Alaskans were much better served by getting a new governor and letting the media chase Palin around the country instead of throughout Alaska. And when she made the series, it brought more good attension to the state which Alaskans appreciated (or should have).

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Minnesota's tourist industry boomed when Jesse Ventura and Garrison Keeler duked it out with competing books.......

Yeah, yeppers - you betcha --- Palin is actually good for Alaska's economy.

Being sarcastic? Never heard that one before...but I do know that good attension is better than no attension and it didn't cost Alaska a dime in advertising.
