I appreciate the fact that she's Alaskan (her family and mine fish the same body of water).

I share many of her interests (shooting, fishing, hiking).

I think she's enjoying the fame without going through the pain of running for high office.

I doubt she'll run for office - a failure would lower her speaking fees too much,
and she doesn't have enough pull to win.

AND what do you appreciate about her exiting Alaska's Gov.office abruptly, leaving MANY pending items/issues/problems flapping in the wind? CORRECTION...Palin is NOT a sourdough. Palin is a self-serving,HIGHLY egotistical individual who created a persona for herself and then proceeded to promote that persona in multiple ways.......and is NOW a
multi-millionaire for her efforts...... :bash

Before the 2008 election, liberals were saying that being the governor of Alaska wasn't that big of a deal..then when she left it was like she was abandoning a sinking ship. Alaskans were much better served by getting a new governor and letting the media chase Palin around the country instead of throughout Alaska. And when she made the series, it brought more good attension to the state which Alaskans appreciated (or should have).

IF you are/were from Alaska
it WAS a big deal. Initially she "bucked the system",when she was in Wasillia. Then something CHANGED and she got "political fever
in her veins". Her interests became much more self-serving and once the VP position was presented it was full tilt to further her political aspirations. The HUGE question is this......WHAT was the impetus to abruptly abandoned her obligations to Alaska. THAT question has never been answered....other than she thought she could be "better positioned" to make "improvements".(to HERSELF).
SORRY, Alaskans think it's pretty cheap and callous to come in sh** on the carpet, then leave. Her TV series was a "joke" in Alaska because it was a "tourist" television thing. Kinda like "the Dog" in Bounty Hunter series.......lots of flash for the cash.

Palin is a wonderful person, and she's hot! She left the gobbernor position to run for VP of the USA. Since most liberals can't think and chew gum at the same time you'd think they could understand wanting to concentrate on a run as important as being the Vice President of the USA. Most liberals can't do the aforementioned without chewing gum.

Many congressmen and senators do the same thing- they give up their office while running for president.

After the race- she then proceded to do what most of us (smart people)would do- secure her financial future by taking advantage of the opportunities that presented themselves. I think liberals are all wrapped around their own axles with the thought that Sarah made a few bucks on a speaking tour and TV show. It just burns um up! You all should be ashamed of your covetousness.

How shameful of you- class envy and all. Sarah has secured her financial future, her kids financial future and maybe her grandchildren as well. Good for her!

And for all you envious liberals- shame on you, try diverting your thoughts to somthing productive.

And P.S. Sarah is the best- and did I mention she's hot?

I'm surprised that someone so enamoured of Sarah Palin doesn't know that she did NOT quit the governorship to run for Vice President, she quite after she and McCain lost.

Nice try, though, at giving her a resonable excuse to quit....it's just not true.

and that has what to do with BearMtnHIB's post about Sarah?....oops, sorry, I forgot, a conservative will always deflect any criticism away from another conservative. My bad.

I can only assume that Bear is so besotted with Ms Palin he cannot think, or post, straight. I wonder if she would be as interested in him as he is in her. EMWTK.

Palin still draws big crowds wherever she goes and if any of those running having any sense they will want her endorsement.

That dumb woman as so many like to think of her is a pretty smart woman.

Wayne should be so smart.

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles
