I think we are well aware that this is how many on the right feel.....it's all about defeating Obama, even if the USA is trashed in the process. I don't believe the "greater good" argument, defeating Obama is not about saving our country, it's about saving the Republican party, pure and simple.
It's great when they validate what you knew all along... It's not about ANYTHING "for the good of the country"...It's strictly about the loser party wanting its ball back.

And the thought of ANY of the current crop of right-wing bozos getting into the White House scares me silly... :VeryScared:
So with hindsight being 20-20 - do you really think that Obama has helped the average American?
Are they better off then they were in 2008?
I truely believe they are much worse off- and I bet the majority of America agrees with me right about now.
For me I could give a **** less about the republican party- we need smaller government and less regulations or we're all gonna be dumpster diving for a living very soon.

Yep, here it is in their own words..... 'Obama Wants to Put Party Above Country' White House Spokesman

We can't have that, now can we...?
 Or if the Republicans approve it and the economy improves despite the legislation, they can claim the credit for the rebound. The Boehner Congress brought America back wheras the Pelosi/Obama plans just left us mired in the mud.

Yeah, and my uncle Joe quit smoking 5 years ago and was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 years later. Couldn't have been the smoking, right, since he had quit three years earlier?

Guess your not going to answer the question without blaming it on history- what about since 2008? HUH?
No one expects you to admit that Bush did anything wrong when he was president......you didn't when he held the office, you didn't when he left the office....and now, 3 years later you still won't. No surprises there. The passes the right gives Bush are astonishing compared to how the right will criticize Obama right down to what kind of dog he gets.
AV is right on with her analogy......the decisions by any president will be felt for years to come, Bush just happened to string a long line of very bad economic/fiscal decisions together which we are paying dearly for today.
Amusing that the right will not blame conservatives for what they did wrong over decades, but will blame liberals for not being able to fix it in 3 years.

Am I the ONLY person
that sees the maco perspective of this issue? OMG.......the pending DEPRESSION back then was in the works for a very long period of time. It was on NO ONE"S radar until AIG hit the ground and smashed into dust. It took a VERY long time for this fubar to manifest and it
will take a VERY long time for it to resolve......NOT going to happen in 3 years. Pull back and see the long view of this from a historical
standpoint in time......JMO (my way of saying the PARTISAN position is a problem here.)
