President Barack Obama Talking Down To His Audience?

Here's a reminder of what the DEMOCRAT Harry Reid said:

Reid stated that Obama could be a successful candidate because he is "light skinned" and that he speaks with "no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one."

rofllol  You really can't make this stuff up. What if a Republican had said this?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I am listening to his speech in Denver right now, not as much accent, but not Beltway either,

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

President Barack Obama Talking Down To His Audience?

He is talking down to his audience- he's better than all of them and he asumes that they have all been lounging around in their bedroom slippers and sitting on their asses.

"I don't have time to feel sorry for myself. I don't have time to complain. I am going to press on. I expect all of you to march with me"

So he assumes that everyone has been feeling sorry for themselves- everybody has been complaining (actually it's Obama that's blaming everyone but his policies). He expects everyone to press on- as if they have not been....

What a pompus ass- If I were a democrat- I'd be pissed at that attitude, he just called his audience a bunch of lazy asses.

Same thing Carter did a year before he lost the election!

Automatically discounted by the left, but forget the source and listen to what Maxine Waters has to say about this speech and the analysts comments:

Obviously just another campaign speech full of empty rhetoric.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

"We need our students to be able to compete in a global economy"

True, but why won't you let the US excel in a global economy?

"Everybody here will get an extra 1700.00 next year"

And the following year we will have to claim it as income plus we will pay it back in spades because of Obama care.

An interesting point was brought up by a radio jock- passage of this bill will eliminate the tax write off for charitable contributions. This will cause direct harm to charities because people will no longer contribute, not if they are going to get taxed on it.

Scientists have found a particle they believe travels faster than the speed of light.. almost as fast as the time it takes Democrats to cry racism whenever someone criticizes President Obama.

So people only give to charity because they get a tax write off?

Not that I've read the bill, but I'm pretty sure Obama is talking about going back to George Bush #1's "read my lips" tax increase. It doesn't eliminate charity write offs, but does decrease itemized tax deductions for those with higher income. That was in effect for many years.

I could be wrong though, but let me know if anyone finds something different.

Pretty much a gimme for alot.
They rather give it to something than pay the tax, but if that disappears...
