Just taking a quick look at the National Parks in the Western/Southwestern states on http://www.npca.org/parks/ , looks to me like there are a lot with Spanish names.

Seems to me that this is just another way to try to divide people, rather than serving any useful function.

A fact, not racism) to drive up and down Federal causing havoc, shooting guns and celebrating the Mexican Flag and spitting on American flags. And the day an Illegal immigrant shot and killed my friend Police Officer Donnie Young outside a Mexican nightclub 6 years ago. I forgot, which holiday do we have that is specifically for WHITE Americans where we act like that? Or don't white Americans use race for holidays?

How, exactly, is Cinco de Mayo a racist holiday? Is it just racist to you since your friend was murdered?

Donnie Young was killed on Mother's Day (May 8), not May 5.

Nope. Any holiday that celebrates a certain RACE in a nation with mixed races is RACIST! Let me ask you, if they had a holiday or parade just to Celebrate WHITE Americans would people call it racist? Could there be a day to celebrate the south with Conferderate flags instead of American flags and not be called racist? NO! Why can't people in the south then have a Confederate Day to celebrate? Let's just keep dividing this nation up any way we can. :bash

The fifth of May is the celebration in small part of Mexico of the Mexican army's defeat of the French. We should celebrate it, the French were trying to undermine the union of states from the south.

You are right. I was at his funeral on the 11th. But it was still an illegal immigrant who did it and many people knew and let him stay and be a dishwasher.

Uh... a race is like white, black, brown...Vike.

Cinco de Mayo is not a holiday of a certain race. It is a holiday of a certain nationality (Mexicans), like Christopher Columbus Day is celebrated by Italians.
