This does not sound good and sounds like he is hiding something. And then to not answer but repeat the question to the person asking, normally means yes. If you are not guilty and if it is not true, just say 'no'.
Politico said it confronted Cain early Sunday outside of the CBS News Washington bureau, where he had just been interviewed on "Face the Nation."
"I am not going to comment on that," he told Politico when asked specifically about one of the woman's claims.
When asked if he had ever been accused of harassment by a woman, he responded, Politico said, by asking the reporter, "Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?"
Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain has taken the lead in the race to win the Iowa Caucuses, according to a Des Moines Register poll published Saturday.
Cain finished with 23 percent, narrowly beating former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney who finished with 22 percent. The two are essentially tied however, as Cain's one point lead falls within the poll's +/-4.9 percentage point margin of error.
Texas Rep. Ron Paul finished third in the poll on 12 percent, while no other contender polled more than 10 percent.
Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who finished a close second in the Register's first poll with 22 percent, dropped to 8 percent to finish fourth in Saturday's poll.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tied for fifth each with 7 percent. Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum finished with 5 percent, and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman gained 1 percent.
Interesting interview with Geraldo and Cain's spokesman J D Gordon. Gordon would not deny the allegations (nor would he support them) He just danced around the issue when asked for a yes or no on "are the allegations true". The interview with Geraldo is here:
I don't know what to think of politicians and there seeming inability to keep it zipped. Is it something we need to learn to tolerate or is it indicative of the poor quality of candidates our system throws up?
"During LBJ’s first congressional race, when he supposedly told his campaign manager to begin circulating the rumor that his main opponent, a pig farmer, was practicing animal husbandry a bit too literally. “Jesus, Lyndon,” the campaign manager was said to have responded. “Nobody’s going to believe that.” “Yeah,” quoth LBJ, “but I want to hear the son of a bitch deny it.”"

:rofl rofllol That would have been a priceless and very uncomfortable interview! Can you imagine the person having to ask them?
"You know... if Cain really was running as a plant, if there was someone pulling his strings... and suddenly the puppet decides he's got a good shot, and starts leading the polls..."
I know, I know... I'm being paranoid, but if someone was paying Cain to be in this race, and provide the Republicans with their token-candidate... and suddenly it wasn't so much of a joke anymore... maybe you let slip a little something, just to keep him in line, remind him who is in charge...
Honestly, I wouldn't put a plant in without enough evidence to bury him if he got a little big for his britches!
The thing that bothers me the most is that after the Republican party saying they are sick of the Dems playing the race card, Cain played the race card again! "They're going to come after me more viciously than they would a white candidate," Cain responded. That is a something Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton say.
