I don't believe you can be a bad person in your personal life yet be a good candidate. Moral misconduct loses the candidate my vote. It's why I couldn't support Newt where he the Republican candidate. If you are willing to betray your wife, you will be willing to betray your country. Why are we so willing to turn a blind eye as long as we like the guy?

I don't know... ask the Democrat = Clinton.

I wouldn't vote for Cain... but I wouldn't vote for Clinton either... then or now... Hillary... that would be my choice right now.

Some of our more famous Presidents have been unfaithful to their wives, most notably FDR, Eisenhower, LBJ, and JFK.
I won't rule it out, but it does set up the person for blackmail possibilities.
There can be all kinds of reasons for cheating, like, a political marriage, like FDR, Eisenhower, overseas, LBJ & JFK, just for kicks.
