This sounds like the old conservatism, the opiate of the elderly, greed, hate, narrow-mindedness and good, old fashioned 'I got mine' attitude. As I march towards my 'golden years' I find myself with a massive desire to NOT be as as ugly and come across as the bitter as some of the cons on this forum.
