No, its fine..All people have to do is read the first post..

You don't have to pay those credit cards people-It's an unsecured loan

you guys floor me, you can turn ANYTHING into a political stupid-fest. VL, you should back out of it and let her learn her lesson and face the music. it's the only way she will ever learn to get along in this world.

I'm not a tough love parent..I think those tough love types end up in nursing homes hoping their kids come by to see them on holidays..

but that's selfish. She needs to grow up and learn how to take care of herself. you need to help her do that if you care about her not just you

Did you read this thread from the beginning? He's goofing on you. He's making this up. He found this in a PDF document some where on the web and he adapted the story as if it was his. It's the same as his "getting a free veterans lunch and using his Civil Air Patrol card as 'proof' that's he's a veteran" bullshite that he pulled a month ago (and I fell royally for). Give it up Angela... he'll just string you along for all it's worth.

VL, please post as many details as you can here, I am curious to see how the process you describe works.

She's my baby-I see no reason to sit back and watch her struggle for years to pay that off- and 20 to 29% interest is a crime to me. I will not sit back and watch the banks do this to one of my children.

Besides, i've been looking for a way to get back at these banksters..I thourghly enjoyed bringing them to their knees and beggin for scraps

After 6 months they sell it to a collection agency. Ignore them for about 10 months....So right there thats 16 months without having to pay anything..During that time one collection agency sells it to another, and to another, and to another at a lower and lower price each time....16 months-Right about then, when they are nice and ripe, when they figure they ain't never gonna get anything from you- You give them a call with a sad story. They'll ask for half. You say 5%. They'll say no and after about 10 more calls, (don't call them, let them call you) they'll settle for 10%. At that point you've beat them and they'll come up with some excuse about why they settled for only 10%, like "we need too get this off our books" or something..I always reassure them that they got more out of me than any of the other collection agency's did....You don't wanna rub their faces in it..Take your victory and leave
