‘Sorry’ Blagojevich gets 14-year prison sentence

Disgraced former (Democratic) Gov. Rod Blagojevich was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison after he made a final plea for leniency, acknowledging his guilt and saying, “I am unbelievably sorry.” The sentence is the longest received by any Illinois governor and one of the longest for any politician in state history.

U.S. District Judge James Zagel said in announcing how long Blagojevich should spend in prison after being convicted of 18 corruption charges that included attempting to sell or trade an appointment to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the election of President Barack Obama. “You did that damage.”

If you can't get the voters to go along with you... just forget them and try to sell the Senate seat outright.

It's fraud... The GOP slime that perpetrated it were convicted. GOOD.

Insert standard, irrelevant "they did it too" nonsense here: _____________________________________

Archer comes to the rescue of Lady Jazzer again. Boy oh boy... you complaining about Tu Quoque arguments? Lady Jazzer is the Queen of Tu Quoque arguements. And you get pissy when someone comes along and does it back to your side. Oh... I'm playing the littlest tambourine for you... ding... ding... dong.

I actually learned something today! Tu Quoque!

Yes... and Lady Jazzer is Queen of it. And when the conservative on this forum play the same game with her... well, she goes on a feigned rant as if she never takes that tact... the funny thing is... everyone on the otherside of their monitors have to sit there and laugh at her. Don't think she is clueless to what she is doing... she just doesn't give a sh*te how she looks.

P.S. I got your PM, I'll have something to you later... I was in a meeting all day.

When the spin winds down the personal attacks begin. Sad that not one conservative could come up with a single statement about the original post related to whether or not they approve of what was done to influence the election.

Well... this much we do know for a fact...

Obama still flush with cash from financial sector despite frosty relations

Despite frosty relations with the titans of Wall Street, President Obama has still managed to raise far more money this year from the financial and banking sector than Mitt Romney or any other Republican presidential candidate, according to new fundraising data.

We know for sure how the next election is trying to be influenced. Wall Street must like what they are getting from Obama if they are so eager to support him even after all the OWS and the feigned outrage from the administration. It's evident Wall Street know better.
