Stop trying to protect your friends. Lady Jazzer can't even start a thread without putting some nastiness in her very first post, and almost every comment she leaves here has a tinge of FU to it. As soon as a conservative who can stand on his own comes along and doesn't take this crap from the socialists on 285 Bound, there's suddenly a flurry of activity on here trying to moderate my comments and my tone. You tip your partisan hand by doing it in public, on the forum instead of in PM's. It's sort of like Herman Cain. The liberals basically told that conservative black that he's an "uppity black" and this is what happens to conservative blacks who try to run in the political arena. That's what you are attempting here, to let the conservatives know that they are NOT free to comment back the same way the socialists do on here.

You're "can't we all just get along" song-and-dance is a tired rubric designed to make you look fair and balanced when you are certainly not fair or balanced. Wouldn't it be simpler to just delete certain accounts. At least you wouldn't have to publicly sound like a hypocrite? Just make then "disappear" and no discussion, no phony posturing.

I'll cut back. I'm just interested in seeing how well your friends on here follow suit. And yes, I'll be making a list and checking it twice, we're gonna find out how serious you really are. So, to start, an apology from me. I promise to refrain from the invectives and calculated taunts.

When it comes to politics, LJ and me most likely will never agree, but other than that, she is a pretty good person. I am a conservative that votes the issues not the party.

But, don't be too hard on VL, though. Reading his posts provide some of the best comedy around. Honestly, the whole 'man eating shark' thing was hilarious and I about lost my cookies on his post about the "stingray venom" - PRICELESS!

No one would be more upset than you guys if she stopped posting or stopped being peppery, as it would be a lot harder to get away with your bad behavior without having her to blame it on.

Many of your posts are about you telling people that they didn't even read the thread and calling them stupid. It is condescending and mean. It does make people worry about being attacked. Those replies are not opinion about the subject and that is what she meant. SC has the same problem I had sometimes. When you own the site and are moderating it, you state your opinion and people think you moderate from that opinion. This site has never used emotion to moderate. We also do not moderate based on conservative, Democrat, etc.. Your post was never altered or deleted and you were never FORCED to say anything. She saw that you were being mean to people and told you the truth about what she thought about it. You were pretty close to pulling the Pinecam card in this post and it isn't going to work. Trolling is about attacking people and trying to upset the people on the site. You are close to that in many of your posts.

She treated you as an adult and it was her opinion and yeah she and I will protect people who post don't deserve to be attacked just for posting their opinion every time by telling you about it. That is how this site handles controversy. Pulling the LJ card won't work either.
