FredHayek wrote: The classic definition of Liberalism is classic, in like 19th century. The modern Democrat party supports enviromental legislation like the wetlands case currently being decided bfore the Supremes this week. Supporting the rights of ducks over the personal property of people. Fining people 10's of thousands a day if they don't modfiy their land to the goverment's will. Doesn't sound like supporting liberty to me.

So you do support property rights? Unless it is a hedge fund manager and then you think it is only fair to bill him 70% of his income/property for the privelige of living in America?
Or support liberty, unless it is increased school taxes once again confiscating people's income, and if they don't pay their taxes, confiscating their private property. Sounds like liberty to me, per the Dems.

I hope someday you actually get the (pleasure?) of living in a society with absolutely no public infrastructure.

LadyJazzer wrote: Interesting, because everything I found shows conservatives to be ruled by the region that processes fear and tend toward the selfish sociopathic behavior I already know and understand so well.
While liberals make more use of the gray-matter that processes things like empathy and social skills. (Big surprise there...)

Exactly
This thread is a perfect example of why I don't post much here anymore. I simply got tired of the conservatives here telling me what I (and every other liberal here) believe, rather than asking.
