Yeah, I'd blame him too...
Leaders, especially those who spent hundreds of millions of dollars to get to the white house don't blame. He wanted the job, he knew what the problems were. He just is clueless on what to do, and just like other inept leaders, he blames the previous one. It really doesn't matter if there is blame available (and yes, Bush should be included in a long blame line, along with democrats and all in congress). Lead.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

He's incapable of leading squat. He'd rather (and liberals rather) waste most of their time blaming someone else for the problems rather than fix the problems. Even if it is someone else's fault, it's about time to shut up and fix it.
Here is what the campaign speech, masquerading as a State of the Union Speech, is really all about:
"Given the treacherous state of the economy, the president's campaign aides are attempting to make the theme of the upcoming election a choice about the role of government and the future of the middle class -- not a referendum on the president's handling of the economy."
If I was an aid to the President I wouldn't want to talk about the his handling of the economy either. Can you blame these guys?
Apparently there will be an effort to shore up the Union folks he pissed off by stomping the Keystone Pipeline too.
"Democratic sources briefed on the draft speech say it will describe a "blueprint for an economy that's built to last."
That blueprint will focus on manufacturing, energy, education and middle-class values, according to a video released on the Obama's campaign website and Democratic sources who have been briefed on the address."
Also alternative energy (that's been a real barn burner) and education. Can't lose those teacher's unions. Oh yes, and middle-class values from the President who is allowing gays in the military.
Obama's policies will not fix the problem- the class warfare tatic was never going to work.
Obama is expected to continue with the retoric of class warfare- watch how many times he mentions "giving the middle class a fair shake" in his speech tonight.
And while he play's more lip service to our best producers- the most successful people- he will keep the claims that they do not pay their fair share, even though we all know they now pay much more than their fair share. The top 5% pay more than 60% of all the taxes collected while the bottom 50% pay no income taxes.
If that's not a "fair shake'- I don't know what is. And while he talks a big game out one side of his mouth- he's busy shutting down real private sector jobs like the pipeline jobs he shut down last week.
While he's blowing hot air out his mouth- his policies are hard at work making sure the jobs engine of this country has the heavy foot of government against it's throat- cutting off the air supply.
I think even the left is tired of this socialist- we have the longest recession since the great depression- the rest of the world recovered years ago- but thanks to socialist policy- we have secured ourselves a bad economy for years more than was necessary. Plus we have to pay it all back with interest!
It’s the last time Congress passed a budget. 1000 days later, we are operating without any plan. Oh, the irony that it is today — I can’t wait to hear about it during the State of the Union tonight. Just like last year’s State of the Union. The budget Obama tried to pass shortly thereafter, modeled on the ideas espoused during his speech, failed 97-0. It was so outrageous, not one Senator of either party would put his name to it.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said it would be “foolish” to have a budget.
“There’s no need to have a Democratic budget in my opinion,” Reid said in a May interview with the Los Angeles Times. “It would be foolish for us to do a budget at this stage.”
The breakdown in the Senate came after Sen. Kent Conrad (D-ND), chairman of the Budget Committee, failed to get a consensus among panel Democrats last year on any plan that was proposed to the caucus.
"Present" is about all it adds up to. Some here are very scared about a second term, but I am not so worried. Obama will withdraw even more rather than work with Congress and the Senate and spend his time on vacation and work on his post-Presidency career. Will speak for a million, will bring own teleprompter.
