BLIZZARD STORM LAB CENTRAL was created by UNDER MODERATION
As a Commercial Pilot who's logged well over 2000 hours of flight time I know weather, and I know this is shaping up to be a big one folks..Call in sick now, baton down the hatches, and brace yourselves for a 3 day weekend by the fire watching sports, movies or tv shows..

The first bands of this Low Pressure System and closing in on Bailey as we speak..The pressure is currently
holding steady at 30.13

Winter Storm Warning!

... Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 11:03 PM MST
Friday...

* timing... snow will rapidly develop early this evening and
continue through Friday night. Heavy snow will
develop later this evening and continue through Friday... then
gradually decrease by Friday night.

* Snow accumulations... total accumulations of 14 to 24 inches
can be expected.

* Winds/visibility... northeast 10 to 20 mph. Visibilities will
be poor at times in areas of heavier snowfall and blowing
snow.

* Impacts... snow and blowing snow may make travel difficult
later tonight through Friday evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Travel conditions will be hazardous tonight through Friday night
as roads will become snowpacked and icy. If you must travel...
keep extra food... water... a flashlight... shovel....I phone..... beer....marijuana and dry clothing in your
vehicle. If you get stranded... stay with your vehicle and wait
for help to arrive.

My pressure's been holding steady for the last 6 hours at 21.56 inHg. And there might be 1/2 inch of snow on the ground.

What storm?
