Shades of "Swift boat Johny,"...I was for it before I voted against it." :bash

"Are you saying that you no longer share the view that we need to figure out how to boost gasoline prices in America?" Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, asked Chu.

"I no longer share that view," the energy secretary said.

"But you did then, but you don't now?" pressed Lee.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Surely you aren't implying that the current administration would press their own Secretary of Energy to make a public statement solely for the sake of getting re-elected. That seems unethical to me... Of course the sheepeople that put Barry in office will buy into this ploy just like they bought all of that "Hope and Change" nonsense back in 2008.

Do you honestly think the man doesn't believe Americans should be paying more for carbon based energy? Even Obama has said gas prices should be higher, but he wanted them to increase gradually.

I guess Barry's solution for a family of 12 (10 kids plus a mom and a dad) is to buy six Chevy Volts and sort out the debt later (I'm sure GMAC will be happy to give large families a pass on late and non-payments).

They should be higher. Our subsidized fuel is the lowest in the world. We're pansies when it comes to gas prices.
