President Obama joined the ranks of tipsy revelers across the nation by ringing in St. Patrick's Day with a pint of Guinness.

Obama stopped by The Dubliner in Washington, D.C. on Saturday afternoon wearing a green jacket, the AP reported. According to pool reports, he was welcomed with chants of "USA! USA! USA!" and "Four more years!".

What kind of reception would you expect from a bunch of happy drunks?

And why are they happy? Could it be things aren't as doom and gloom as you think they are?

My neighbor, who shops at thrift stores, has the empty box of a new 55 inch flatscreen next to the trash can. He must have got his tax refund.

If it's his refund then it was HIS money to begin with. He earned it. Don't try and make it look like people who get tax refunds are getting something free from the government.
