Sorry... not at all. Europe is always on the top of my list to visit, when I have the available funds. I have friends there, in Paris, Warsaw and Berlin. I get along quite well with the folks over there. This time is sort of an adventure, because I'm going someplace I've never been before. It's always a bit exciting to visit a place that you are not familiar with. Those other cities I mentioned are like home to me. I'll send you an electronic post card.

You don't have to tip in Europe, just round up the bill.
Interesting Fred, I honestly didn't know that about tips. Europe doesn't really interest me anyway, except maybe Switzerland.
Have a nice vacation Twin, maybe you will like it and stay there. LOL
Fred fails to mention that the tips are built into the final cost of the check. Wait people in most European countries have a guaranteed wage and a guaranteed tip, which is set by the governments. Because of this it's not the custom of leaving anything more than rounding up of the change returned to you after paying for the check. If you're handed back 10 euros and 75 cents in change, it's customary to leave the coins. But anything more than that the wait person considers that flaunting of ones worth and they see that as sort of an insult.
It's a global economic and political world you live in. Europe and many other countries should interest you, at least on the level of awareness. And in regards to your statement "maybe you will like it and stay there"... even if I were to stay there I could still harass you in real time, long distance. You can't even be sure I'm not really there right now. Proves my point... it's a big wide wonderful world you live in. You really need to get out more.
