But he's doing GREAT with those that make over $200,000!!!

Hold on there! Think the polls are going to reflect these same numbers 7 months later? There were big polling swings before the Carter/Reagan matchup.

lol MSNBC has been running these anti-Mormon stories trying to influence the election, but really, why? Most of their viewers aren't evangelicals, and almost none of these viewers were going to vote for Mitt anyway.

True, I don't watch MSNBC, but you have to think even if Fox highlights the MSNBC story, the evangelicals will automatically distrust the liberal network.

Well, if you don't watch MSNBC, then you would know that the so-called "anti-Mormon stories" are a lie.

But thanks for playing....

Why is msnbc even relevant, since the links were to ABC and CNN?

What are the odds of two of the four Republican presidential candidates being Mormon? Coincidence?

I wonder what the Birthers think of that?

Er... because...

And while the criticism of Romney's faith has been a topic of conversation over the last four years, few have attacked Mormonism as much as MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, who on Tuesday called Mormonism an "invented religion."

It is an invented religion. Joseph Smith invented it. But then, they all pretty much are, aren't they?

Mormons are Christians, but many Christians want to exclude others so they like to say they are a cult.

The sticking point between the teachings of the LDS church and other Christian faiths is monotheism. The Mormons believe that there are three entities with a single purpose, which doesn't coincide with the monotheistic beliefs of the other Christian faiths that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are a single God. Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is Divine, as do those of other Christian faiths, they simply worship him as a separate God from the Godhead, or Father God. This foundational difference is the source of the divide. Those who believe in the Holy Trinity do not view the Mormons as a subset of themselves, they see it as a completely separate religious tradition as distinctly separate from themselves as they are from Judaism.

It should be noted that Liberation Theology, black or otherwise, is rejected by these same groups as being a humanistic doctrine, populist in nature, instead of a Divine one - which is the root source of opposition to Obama's claim to being a Christian. Liberation Theology, including the Black Liberation Theology of Obama's mentor, is an attempt to interpret Scripture through the plight of the poor. The rest of the Christian faiths see this as a perversion of Scripture, a perversion which is purposed to incite violent revolution and Marxist class struggles.

It is not for me to judge whether either of them have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The ability to look into a person's soul is God's alone. The theology which underpins both the LDS Church and Black Liberation Theology, however, is another thing entirely. Those theologies are not shared amongst the rest of the Christian faiths and they rightly classify them as distinct and separate from the catholic (small 'c' - meaning universal) theology which is shared by them all.
