No Fred, she is right. It is over. We might as well all stay home in November.

But he's doing GREAT with those that make over $200,000!!!

Hold on there! Think the polls are going to reflect these same numbers 7 months later? There were big polling swings before the Carter/Reagan matchup.

I wonder what the Birthers think of that?

Who's the other one?

Ron Paul I think it Protestant, Newt was Protestant and became Catholic. Santorum is Catholic, possibly Opus Dei. Mitt is Mormon.

There was another Mormon Republican running for President but he had quit around the South Carolina primary.

And Reagan was behind in the polls more than that to Carter. Present polls are not an indication of future performance - many of them had McCain beating Obama at some point and we all know how that turned out. Remember when Dewey was going to beat Truman?

Conventional wisdom, supported by polls, was almost unanimous that a Dewey presidency was "inevitable", and that the New York governor would win the election handily. The first (one-star) edition of the Tribune therefore went to press with the banner headline "DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN".

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dewey_Defeats_Truman

Stay asleep dearie..........keep believing in the inevitable reelection of Obama and you too will wake up the day following the election wondering how a shoe-in managed to lose.
