Story of my life. Mom stayed home and raised kids did lawn work mowed hay.Hoot Owl wrote: Simple Question...
If you were born in the late 50's early 60's what did your Mom do for a living?
Mine, raised kids. Dad was not rich. He had a job and she had one also, 5 kids. Hmmmm

We lived in town. no hay to mow. She did try to garden. But mostly drove us around and went to the grocery store.. At 92 I bet she will applaud Mrs Romney. Who would not? Raising your own kids--- what a concept. Is it better to drop then off in their PJ 's at 6:00 AM and pick them up later, put them back in their PJ's kiss them good night? "I love you honey" does not cut it.FredHayek wrote:

Isn't it nice that some people nowadays can afford to stay home with the kids...So many cannot, and it's not a choice they get to make.
