Ann Romney a rich entitled socialite - yuck, she raises kids

Nice deflection there, RT. Way to not discuss the subject. It's nice to see you haven't changed your style.

BTW a woman who claims to have been the maid for Ann Romney (until she married Mitt) called in on a cable talk show and talk about how she did everything for Ann, including taking care of the parakeet for her. Don't know if she's legit but she did name drop a lot with specific locations.

The Romney's paid only $20,603 in taxable wages for household help in 2010. This figure was divided among four women: Rosania Costa ($4,808), Kelli Harrison ($8,667), Susan Moore ($2,238) and Valerie Cravens Anae ($4,890).

According to a number of Boston-based domestic staffing agencies, the salary range for a housekeeper is between $20 and $30 an hour, which adds up to an annual salary of $40,000 to $50,000 based on forty-hour weeks and two weeks of paid vacation a year.

The Romneys still paid only half of the lowest range of an average housekeeper's salary, which raises the question of who cleaned the Romney houses the other 50 percent of the time.

Simple Question...
If you were born in the late 50's early 60's what did your Mom do for a living?
Mine, raised kids. Dad was not rich. He had a job and she had one also, 5 kids. Hmmmm

Story of my life. Mom stayed home and raised kids did lawn work mowed hay.

We lived in town. no hay to mow. She did try to garden. But mostly drove us around and went to the grocery store.. At 92 I bet she will applaud Mrs Romney. Who would not? Raising your own kids--- what a concept. Is it better to drop then off in their PJ 's at 6:00 AM and pick them up later, put them back in their PJ's kiss them good night? "I love you honey" does not cut it.

Isn't it nice that some people nowadays can afford to stay home with the kids...So many cannot, and it's not a choice they get to make.

Lets make Barack Obama a stay at home dad in 2013! Stolen from the twitterverse.

Looks like one of the key Dem strategies is to use envy to attack Romney for being rich, but I wonder if they will send out their media minions to attack Mitt using the anti-women perception of the Mormon Church? Should we expect to see more stories about the Mormon offshoot cults and the women who have escaped them?
