Ann Romney a rich entitled socialite - yuck, she raises kids

It Mitt's case, he proves he can't empathize by his comments.

"I have friends who are NASCAR team owners."

"My wife drives a couple of Cadillacs."

"I'm not concerned about the very poor."

"I like being able to fire people who provide services to me."

"I get speaker's fees from time to time, but not very much." —Mitt Romney, who earned $374,000 in speaking fees in one year according to according to his personal financial disclosure.

"PETA is not happy that my dog likes fresh air." —Mitt Romney in 2007, responding to criticism from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals following revelations that he had once put the family dog in a carrier and strapped it to the roof of his car during a 12-hour road trip.

He really tries, but he just doesn't get it.

:bash Talk about taking quotes out of context!!!!

Personally my dogs wants to stick their heads out the window all the time, but I won't let them.
And if he is such a billionaire, shouldn't he have a second vehicle in the caravan just for the pooch?

Here's one of the most laughable quotes I've heard from Obama:

"we didn’t have the luxury for her not to work,” the president said. Talk about being out of touch with the average Joe

I suppose being in the top 5% of earners isn't enough....you have to get to the 1% before you have the "luxury" of raising your own kids.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Do you know what time period he was talking about? I doubt he is talking about his time in the White House. Please cite your source for his income level when they were first married and when they first had the children so we can assess just how much you really know about the situation to make your statement that he was in the top 5% of earners.

Or, you can just tell us you don't have a clue and pulled that post outa thin air.

My wife was/is the financial manager of a fairly large budget. She manages our home as a business, showing investments, profit, expenditures, and savings. She has managed our personal finances in this manner for 46 years.

In addition to this discipline, she has managed the physical labor and contracting involved with the running of a household: shopping, cleaning, maintenance, culinaria, property (house, landscape) acquisitions and improvements, and retirement savings. She has overseen the purchase and repair of our transportation. She planned and executed our vacations and leisure.

She raised 4 children. ('nuff said)

This is no exaggeration in the smallest part. I was engaged with our commercial business and did not have much time to help her manage our domestic life. She is a very competent partner and was/is able to successfully contribute to our 50/50 life.

Some would say that she has never worked a day in her life.

He was talking about when he became a Senator and only made about $160k a year.

 I just swapped jobs with my wife. Since I lost my business due to cancer, my wife got a decent job and now I'm being the house dad. I'll tell you what, it's a full day of work and often not much fun. I have to admit I thought it would be easy...I was wrong.

I've done both...I was a stay at home mom with my first child....a conscious choice as I had a career as a systems engineer well underway. I was fortunate as my husband at the time made enough to provide for us withought my paycheck. When my 2nd child was 8 I became a single mom and started a business so I could still be home with my kids. Nothing prepared me for how hard it is to juggle a business, children, home ownership, handling everything and still make ends meet and save for college educations and my own retirement. Until you have walked in my shoes don't preach about how tough it is for wealthy stay at home moms like Ann Romney.
