I liked the graphic, didn't post the article because there are plenty on this topic already.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

I'm with pineinthegrass, this is totally ridiculous. Go after the calories! Have you seen how many dishes at Applebees that are outrageous? And let's not stop there.
:faint:

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Bloomberg ran for mayor as a Republican, winning the election that year and a second term in 2005. Bloomberg left the Republican Party over policy and philosophical disagreements with national party leadership in 2007 and ran for his third term in 2009 as an independent candidate on the Republican ballot line- and he has 22 Billion in the bank...He's a 1%'er

Thats your boy

Progressives are not just limited to the left- the Demoncratic party- there are also progressive Republicans as well. George Bush (both of um) were progressives.

No matter what they call themselves- R or D- they are a threat to freedom and democracy- they are a threat to freedom of choice, and the liberty to make decisions on your own about your own life without big brother sticking his big fat head in the way.

After all- they know better than we do- they are the "authority" and have self anointed themselves to look over the sheeple. They don't think we should have those choices to ourself- they will tell us what to do- what is best, it's an elitest thing.

Many saw this coming from a mile away- years and years ago. Each step they take is another little bite out of the freedoms we take for granted, and here they actually have a good reason too- since the government will be responsible for our health care, it only makes sense that they can now tell us what we can smoke, eat and drink. Don't worry- they will get around to those milkshakes- the doughnuts- the twinkies- the french fries, and every other damn thing that we shouldn't be doing.

One step at a time.

This moron then has the balls to come out and celebrate "Doughnut Day". Must be those yummy sugar free, fat free doughnuts the healthy citizens eat.
