lol To combat obesity, Mayor Bloomberg wants to ban any soda over 16 ounces.
Brilliant plan! Are they also going to to have a one drink limit on any soft drinks?
Diet Coke addicts? You are good to go, so order up that Big Gulp because you are golden. (Or just fill up your "diet big gulp" with real soda.)
Sounds like the soft drink companies are plenty upset about this, maybe they will find someone to run against this mayor.

Mayor Boomberg ....
Has been on the job too long.
Now it's the government's job to tell us what to eat and drink- and how much?
There is no end to this- unless we end it now.

Bloomberg needs to move to some banana republic so he can be the dictator he wants to be. It's beyond my comprehension how he gets elected.

LOL the "progressives" are slipping.
What they should have done is a progressive tax on soda pop as follows.
8 oz 25 cents tax
12 oz 50 cents
16 oz $1.00 tax
Super Gulp $5.00 tax
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

How do you figure Blomberg is a progressive? He may be an independent now, but before that he was a Republican.
