Obamacare Stands/Insurance Mandate, er, Tax Upheld

What REALLY scares them to death is the fact that once you get past the libertarians/sociopaths who DON'T CARE if anyone dies, as long as they don't have to pay any amount of taxes whatsoever, they're afraid that when the public starts finding out that all of the bat-sh*t-crazy crap about "death panels" from Palin's tweets; and the garbage spewed by the right-wing think-tanks; the "chamber-of-commerce"/business scare-mongers, etc., is a LIE, and that things start getting implemented that are good, and that they LIKE--the teabaggers don't have anything else to sell but garbage...

(How's THAT for a run-on sentence?)

So, if the decision went the other way it was the end of Obama. Since it went this way, now conservatives are trying to hang it around his neck like an albatross? That some funny stuff right there...

No, what happened here hurt Obama in the election. IF it went the other way he could have played the martyr and done what Romney did was say if you want Obamacare you better re elect me. He won this battle but it remains to be seen if he won the war.

Let's think about this, part of the reason we are having issues with a debt crisis in parts of Europe is because the people are dead set against a bail out. THere were riots when it was even thought of. The reason the us has always been one of the strongest or even the strongest nation financially is because we have options that what democracy is all about. Europe can't bail out their finance crisis and we could because socialism does not want people to have unbalanced money. Is this good in theory? Maybe. But not practical THIS is why I take issue. We should not have this rammed down our throats. I have a son with health issues this does help him with some of the provisions. I just think there is a better way to work on this. Socialism is not the way but okay I am a patriot. If the american people are okay with a tax I will accept it. ONLY IF THEY ARE HONEST ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON.

It's only a "tax" if you refuse to get coverage of some kind. If you have a son with health issues, I can't imagine your not wanting to cover him. This is frankly much ado about very little, except from a libertarian point of view where ANYTHING required by a societal government is like garlic to a vampire.

No, it's like a caring parent getting coverage for their child because NOW they know that from now on there are no "lifetime limits"; there are no exclusions for "pre-existing conditions"; there are no more chances of being dropped by an insurance company because their child developed cancer or some other disease.

But I rather expect that that's over your head.

But as I pay more for my insurance and my sister needs help because she and my nephew just had their apartment burned and have no where to live, where do I get money to help her? Do I call my senator or will you help.

I had all the money I needed to get by and enough to help others, like my family and friends, but you forced me to spend extra on insurance for your family and friends and now I don't have extra (remember this is not the first time you reallocated my money, it's like the 678th this year alone).

But I rather expect that that's outside of your head. Have you even offered one person in need even $10 towards their health insurance in the last week, you seem so willing to spend millions of other people's money for your good cause (risk insurance to cover medical expenses), how about just paying $10 more per week than those that don't want to but will anyway? These are your morals. regardless of the laws, I assume you would help anyone you found in need till you were in need yourself, right? or is that outside of your head to as you figure out how to make me work more hours for no return, aka servitude.

I once had a state rep that told me that if I could pay my bills, he was not taxing me enough, looking for a mate? I could give you his #.

Also today there are states you can move to and get cancer coverage the day after you get there for <$200 a month even if you show up with no arms and already riddled with cancer, using no federal laws, even if you live in CO and just hit your lifetime limit. But that's outside your state, let alone head.
