Because he was the author for Obamacare as governor of Massachusetts? And let's not forget that bastion of liberals at the Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute, Freedomworks who pushed the individual mandate back in the 80's, and pols such as Gingrich who advocated for the individual mandate back in the 90's.

It doesn't matter if he was the author for Obamacare as governor of Massachusetts. He's not governor anymore, he's a presidential candidate. In case you didn't notice, Gingrich is not running for president. And it doesn't matter what the Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute or Freedomworks did back in the eighties. Many of the people who will be affected by this new tax weren't even alive then. I wish the left could get out of the past. It's not Bush, it's not Massachusetts and it's not opinions or policy 30 years ago. The election coming up is in November 2012 and the left had better be concerned with what Romney is doing NOW or else you folks are going to miss the coming elections while you're poking around in "ancient" history.

Wow... Still trying to push those lies from the Rightie blogs? Reading-comprehension is a bitch when you don't have it.

Non-citizens are not covered... Of course, they are still free to go to emergency rooms, where their expenses will STILL be passed on to taxpayers in the form of higher premiums. So, even though covering them would result in lower overall costs, you can lay your sociopathic head down tonight secure in the knowledge that they won't be covered....

What part of "emergency rooms" are you having trouble with?

I think this was a pretty good article explaining possibly why Roberts voted the way he did. At least he affirmed the commerce clause, whatever that's worth.

Now we return you to your regularly scheduled snarky posts.
