I've watched you on a few boards now... and you may not remember me (I'm kinda quiet) but you're always entertaining... and I just thought I would tell you that this is the first time I've actually agreed with your posting.
Private businesses can operate any way they want to, but I hope it hits them directly in the bottom line in this instance. Anybody want a side of bigotry with that Spicy Chicken Wrap?
Do you think the same people who are outraged about Chick fil a's preident's opinion about gay marriage were also outraged about president Obama's opinion about gay marriage up until a few months back when he "evolved"?
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I saw where Amazon's founder/CEO dropped $2.5 MILLION into the bucket today to fight FOR it... And watching Huckabee and the rest of the TV preachers turn purple with apoplexy is worth it...
Foreign Oil companies are in another country, and if their Islamic theocracies have insane policies, there's not much I can do about it. But it DOES go to show what happens when you let religion take over a government. I don't like theocracies over there...and I don't want a theocracy here.
Apples and oranges... But thanks for playing.
I DO know that I haven't bought one drop of gasoline from Exxon/Mobile since 1988 when they destroyed the Alaskan coastline with the Exxon Valdez--and spent more in lawyers' fees and PR than in cleaning it up. And I cut up my BP card and sent it back when BP did the same thing after the Gulf spill. They're spending more on lawyers, and those stupid commercials on TV saying, "LOOK! C'mon down", than they are assisting the people whose lives and livelihoods they destroyed. I'll never buy another drop of their products either.
As far as Chick-Fil-A, I stopped eating there two years ago, and I never will again. Tough luck.

Oh thankyou...I needed that right now. My stock has been trading at an all time low recently.

This is a civil rights issue, this isn't a political afffiliation or opinion..This is like if Sears in the 1960's said they don't want black people to have equal rights in America, and that we are going down the wrong road in giving that to them..
Those Chick Fil La values are not American values..ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL HERE IN AMERICA.

Have you ever heard that somewhere?
VL, it only works for them if it's modified to "ALL [Conservative/White/Church-Going/Straight/Rich-or-wannabe-Rich/Not-Women but...] MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL." THEN it works for them.
Because Clinton was forced into it to compromise with the bigots and anti-gay slime on the GOP side to get something else. Nice try...
Now, remind us that Obama was forced to sign a short extension of the Bush tax-cuts to ensure that the MIDDLE CLASS could keep their tax-cuts for another year.
It's called "compromise"--a concept which you obviously have no clue about.
