I don't spend my money with businesses that fund bigotry.
Is there some part of that you're having trouble with?
I've only eaten there twice in my life, both times traveling in Atlanta. What are you having trouble with?
So are you saying that funding any group opposed to gay marriage is supproting bigotry? So wasn't VOTING for Obama who also oposed gay marriage supporting bigotry as well?
If you have a source that shows where Obama ever donated any money to anti-gay groups, we'll talk. Otherwise, you're blowing smoke out of the usual orifice.
Obama said he didn't support it, at one time. "Not supporting it", is hardly the same thing as funding groups that are actively working to stop it. The charge of "bigotry" is yours, not mine. I disagreed with him on that at the time, but it wasn't enough to make me vote for McCain and Half-Governor MooseMeat. I was delighted with him when he had a change of heart. B.F.D.

I never said Obama donated money to an anti-gay group, just as I never mentioned Papa John's. You guys just keep making up stuff.
Nor did I make a charge of bigotry, I asked a question.
Let's look at the top 3 organizations that Chick-fil-A helped donate to in 2009:
Marriage & Family Legacy Fund: $994,199
Fellowship Of Christian Athletes: $480,000
National Christian Foundation: $240,000
Do any of them actively discriminate against gays? Do any of them deny them jobs, or deny services? Yes, I'm sure they oppose gay marriage, just as Obama did and much of this country continues to (not that I agree). But what's the "crime" that they commited other than having a different belief than you?
I'll ask again, have any gays been denied service at a Chick-fil-A or denied employment as a result of their national policy? Sure, you can find stuff at an individual franchise (not that I've seen anything against gays), but that can happen with any company or government location.
I agree, it's very petty and the outrage does nothing to help the cause other than to further the divide by angering both sides of the debate. same way Obama was suppose to be the great uniter but ended up being the Sharpton divider.
I think abortion is wrong but I'm not going to make a fuss over a business owner that is pro abortion. Unless they were to actually discriminate, everyone is welcome to their opinions in this country.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
I'll say this again, since you seem to be having trouble comprehending it:
If you like their food, eat there....
I don't spend my money with businesses that fund bigotry.
You asked again about people being denied service there... I'll answer AGAIN: I don't care. If you want to create your own definition that encompasses workplace discrimination, have fun. That's not part of my reason for not spending my money there. You keep trying to debate ME on MY reasons for refusing to do business there. You don't get to modify, or extrapolate on MY reasons.
If my reason seems petty to you, I don't care. It's MY reason, and you are still welcome to eat there. If you still don't understand, I'll repeat it again.

It would have been 45% without Obama saving it with his stimulus package. We were going into a depression...Did you forget that Fred?
