I told people at work about the Chick boycott and they all said nothing would make them give up Chick Fil A.

Might have to try it this week.

Chick usually will hand out free samples at mall food courts, and they always taste really good, so I have bought a sandwich or whatever from them thinking I'm really going to like this. Well a sample of Chick Fil A may be good, but a whole sandwich of it....not so much. It's kinda too rich/too much crust/too much or too little something, for my taste I guess. After several attempts to duplicate the taste of the sample, I gave up on buying their food. Now I have a good reason not to even try their samples anymore.

As of today, gay marriage is once again a partisan issue at the heart of a presidential election campaign. Many Republicans who might have had flexible opinions as of yesterday are now going to find themselves psychologically inclined to move towards the party line. Mitt Romney will be forced, within the next hours or days, to come out with a full-throated argument against gay marriage. Republican office-holders will have to vocally support that position. Republican media outfits (Fox News, conservative talk radio, RedState and so forth) will have to join the attack. Millions of GOP voters who otherwise might have gradually reconciled themselves to gay marriage within the next few months will be held back by the ideological alignments created in this presidential campaign.

Obama was widely panned by conservatives for saying his views were "evolving" on the issue. The problem is conservative views haven't. As seen on this very forum, they love making fun of people they perceive as being gay, as if it's a big joke.

 Not true, Mitt was for homosexual marriage before Barack!

I think they're going to need a little help... Here's what it's doing to their brand approval ratings:

Yep, and an advertizer boycott was going to take down Limbaugh.

HAA HAA! I like your honesty. I wish others would admit it too.

I'm not an expert on chicken, but we have decent choices up here IMO. Even Wendy's is decent for grilled chicken (I prefer grilled over fried), but they are very pricey for a fast food place. Zoka's has a real nice southwest chicken sandwich with a side for just slightly more than Wendys, and a far better atmosphere. But they aren't the only one. And if you want to save money, even Subway ain't too bad, but mainly because they have fresh bread and fixen's though the chicken comes in second. And now I guess I've ruined any credibility for that statement though I'll stick with it...

Wednesday is a buy-in for social conservatives at the Chick. Some homosexual groups plan their own counter-demonstrations.
