Working to defeat same sex marriage legislation isn't discriminating against homosexuals anymore than it is discriminating against having a marriage consist of more than two people. Why is it that not wanting to expand the definition of what marriage is to appease a special interest group equates to discriminating against them? Every time the people are asked if the definition of marriage should be expanded to include homosexuals they say that it shouldn't be - even in the land of fruits and nuts out in California. Why is it that the "progressives" have denounced the Mormons for supporting the ban but not the black community for their support? Overwhelmingly the black community rejected expanding the definition of marriage to include homosexuals, but no one from the left seems interested in calling them bigots or accusing them of discrimination. Why, exactly, is that true?archer wrote:
Actually he did more than that....he has actively supported organizations the descriminate against gays, and/or work on legislation to ban gay marriageBearMtnHIB wrote: I have seen the reaction from the left on this issue with regards to Chik-fil-a. The only statement that the CEO made was that he supports the traditional definition of marriage.
That's it- nothing more.http://www.ajc.com/news/chick-fil-a-pre ... 80243.htmlChick-fil-A has been under fire from gay rights groups since early 2011, when it was revealed that an independent operator in Pennsylvania supplied food to an event sponsored by a group formed to defeat same-sex marriage initiatives. It was also reported that Chick-fil-A's WinShape Foundation did not admit gay couples to marriage counseling.

I'm free to eat (or not eat) at any place I want... Just the same as the "30,000 Moms (rounded up to the nearest million)" are free not to eat Oreos, or shop at J. C. Penneys....

Democracy4Sale wrote: And you think I really care about what a small percentage of black PASTORS think? Since my basic premise is that religion is a joke and the so-called "pastors" that practice it are about as relevant as a ham sandwich at a Jewish wedding, I really don't care what the "black pastors" think.

I don't like that they are not open on Sundays so I do not visit the establishment, I think I have been to a chick fil a in the last few years one time. I know they were in the mall and i went there maybe 20 years ago but this boycotting mentality is insane.
