I guess if you still live in the 18th Century, and haven't figured out that things have, in reality, changed some since then, you WOULD be inclined to be stuck in that ideological dogmatic time-warp... Fortunately, the rest of the world has moved on, and most of the objectivists/Sovereign Citizen wackos who still subscribe to that "I've got mine--screw you" mentality have been branded for the looney-tunes that they are.

In a survival of the fittest world you wouldnt even be here Print Smith

I'd outlive you - not a single question in my mind about that.

What I mean is your parents would have never had you- In a survival of the fittest world (AKA the animal world) only the biggest strongest Bull gets to breed, and no offense, but I think evidence suggests to me that you father wasn't exactly the biggest, strongest, and certainly not the smartest bull in the herd.

Oh, I kind of consider it a generic concept applicable to those who think they're tougher than they are, and think they can prove it by talking a lot about how "bad" they are... Empty suits... "All hat...No cattle..."

Can someone explain to me what the big objection to Chick-fil-A is? Is it just the opinion of their president, or do they have any national policy of discrimination against anyone in either hiring for their restaurants or against customers? Just curious, because maybe I missed something.

A major national rating service sure seems to like them based on their reader's survey for chicken fast food restaurants..

I think it was the $2 million donated to promote continued anti-gay discrimination. If you like their food, then by all means, eat there... Nobody is suggesting you shouldn't.

Well, I've only eaten at Chick-fil-A a couple of times since they weren't usually located near where I live. It seemed good to me, for a fast food place. And so far as gay marriage goes, I've never been opposed to it but I understand why it's a lightning rod for some.

I did a quick search about the groups they donated to that you said promoted "anti-gay discrimination". I don't know all the groups, but most look like Christain groups. Do any of them actively promote "anti-gay discrimination", or are they just opposed to gay marriage? I think there is a big difference there.

WinShape Is Chick-Fil-A's Charitable Arm. The WinShape Foundation is Chick-fil-A's charitable arm, created by Chick-fil-A founder and chairman S. Truett Cathy in 1984. WinShape has received a substantial amount of funding from Chick-fil-A: in 2009 alone, WinShape received $7,814,788 from Chick-fil-A Inc. [Winshape 2009 Publicly Available IRS 990 Form via Foundation Center, accessed 10/28/11]

WinShape Gave Over $1.7 Million To Anti-Gay Groups. In 2009 alone, WinShape donated $1,733,699 to multiple anti-gay groups:

•Marriage & Family Legacy Fund: $994,199
•Fellowship Of Christian Athletes: $480,000
•National Christian Foundation: $240,000
•Focus On The Family: $12,500
•Eagle Forum: $5,000
•Exodus International: $1,000
•Family Research Council: $1,000
