I never said illegals only pick veggies.

So therefore your statement is false.

As for construction, it's too bad you guys are down on unions. They might have protected you.

The unions haven't done squat about illegals.

So you're applying to pick vegetables and mop the floor now?

Exactly WHAT jobs have you applied for that you are competing against illegals?

What? You think your some kind of a smart ass now? Your first post directly references "applying to pick vegetables". Your just a low life troll.

And you think a union will protect you from this immigration problem- just go ask your beloved union, they are in the same pot of boiling water as people like my brother. The problem is assholes like you who support politicians who give these illegals a break, totally on the backs of hard working blue collar workers.

The problem is assholes like you who think it's OK to ignore our immigration laws - people like you give Obama and other corrupt officials the empowerment they need to pander to these law breakers, and it's costing us jobs and it's costing us the livelihoods of what otherwise would be hard working Americans.

When I see the impact that this problem has had on my brothers family- my nieces who have had to go without some things they need- when I see the impact on those families that my brother would normally employ and have plenty of work for- I could slap the crap out of ignorant asses like you.

When it's your turn, I'll be glad to return your total ignorant attitude and destain.

You obiviously have no idea what your talking about.

Like the 50% of American teens who can't find work? Without illegals here, wages would have to rise and young Americans could find work.

Supply and demand applies to labor too, look it up.

As a teen I picked vegetables, shoveled chicken poop, racked and stacked 100# sacks of potatoes (filled box cars and semi trailers), bussed tables, I even worked for a landscaper. I had habits I needed to support, girls, an MG, and surfing.

Yes it does get passed on to the consumer. And increased labor costs for American agriculture might put some farmers out of business because fruit from other countries with lower wages take away sales.

So you advocate putting American farmers out of business?

I am not advocating that. Some of the farmers would invest in capital equipment to replace the now high priced labor, some would change their crop to one that didn't depend on labor as much, and some might do something else with the land.
