The Obama economy

That list is an incredibly naive list you posted there Raees- do you actually believe that drivel? Are you really that ignorant as to how the world really works that you buy into that trash- or do you just expect other people to be that stupid?

1) The rich actually do create jobs- in fact the most successful Americans are either business owners or operators of corporations- or investors who risk their money on others ideas in order to make a profit. Those are the real JOB CREATORS.

2) Deregulation actually does create jobs and regulations actually do kill jobs- and not just a few, some of those regulative policies affect millions of jobs at a time. Those areas of the world where jobs are flocking to are the least regulated economies- ie. India, China, pacific rim, etc.

Even Mexico has attracted a few million of our automotive and manufacturing jobs that used to belong to Americans- and the lack of labor and manufacturing regulations was the main reason those jobs left the country.

3) Just another communist enspired lie- nuff said here.

4) This statement is as idiotic as it gets- as if demand just presents itself without all kinds of contributing variables- including but not limited to the number of people who can afford to demand products and services. No jobs- no demand.

5) This is another lie - the motivation for innovation comes from many sources and from many points of view- I can tell you that the number of innovators who are just out to save the world for free is so small compared to those who are motivated by wealth.

The vast majority create solutions in a market economy by the one great motivator- wealth. wealth and profit for the individual, corporation and investors. Bill gates was motivated my the prospect of profit and wealth, pharmaceutical and netruceutical companies solve problems of human suffering and death with the motivation of personal and corporate gains.

Even if the statement was half true and only 50% of all innovators were out just to save the world for free- why would anyone in their right mind advocate that we remove the motivating factor for the other 50%?

That would be pretty dumb- even for a socialist.

6) Whatever you want to call it- times have been much better than what we have now- do you not agree? Maybe we should bring back those ideas that provided us with better days!

7) GOVERNMENT DOES NOT create jobs- teachers- cops firemen, these are what we in the business world call "the cost of doing business". They do not create wealth for the economy- a government can not fund itself with infrastructure by itself- someone actually has to create wealth to be taxed- so that a cop can be hired.

The biggest myth of the Obama economic lie- is that an economy can be sustained by government expansion. In fact the opposite is true- government expansion on the scale that Obama has instituted - is an economic KILLER of wealth.

Government only needs expanding while the economy is booming- it's the economic expansion that creates the need for more overhead- not the other way around.

Government jobs consume wealth- they chew it up and spit it out. They drive us into massive debt- and the ultimate outcome of an economy with too much government is economic bankrupcy.

Every dollar that is removed from the private economy in order to pay a government employee is a dollar that must be removed from the "productive" column of a society and then reclassified into the NON-productive column ie. "overhead and expenses".

The USA is akin to a business that repairs automobiles and the current state of affairs is as follows;
2 mechanics- these are the guys actually fixing the cars
15 supervisors- this is the local government
25 managers- these are the federal employees
50 receptionists- these are the politicians

And all this with only 5 customers a day!

That list of leftist talking points is exactly what is wrong with America today- some people actually believe that crap! It's dangerous ideas like those that are destroying this country- it's ideas like those that are pure poisen.

I hope you havn't taught your children that those ideas are how the world works, because if you have then you have done them a dis-service.

If you think we can run this country with teachers and cops and firemen- you are badly mistaken - those folks are the "overhead". A good and efficient economy utilizes only a minumum of overhead while maximizing the number of productive producers.

It's the private economy which creates jobs and wealth and opportunity in a free market society- the government is only the "cost of doing business"- and these days, we need a much lower cost of doing business in order to stimulate economic activity.

If the last 4 years has taught us anything- it's that those ideas on that list should be trashed- and fast.

But as a standard "throw-away talking-point" I'll give you about 1.8 ....

LBJ would be ashamed of what a whiny, fembot party the Dems have become.

"That mean Norquist shut us down." :Crying:

Your hypocrisy about bitching about closing the tax-loopholes and then looking the other way when they attempt to do it is duly noted.

The Democrats generally talk about closing loopholes one at a time, when they need to find an offset for their new spending programs. And some Democrat senators block the loophole bills like the Hedge fund carried interest. Kerry and Reid for example.

Repubs like to talk about reforming the entire tax system and getting rid of both corp and individual loopholes while lowering rates. It remains to be seen if they will ever really do it. I'm not optimistic.

This is the new Obama Economy....
