Romney has no use for 47% of Americans

As you know, federal payroll taxes will be over 15% for self employed, so already they have paid a higher rate than RMoney did. And federal gas taxes will have a greater impact on the rates of those making middle or lower income wages, than on the $20 million or so that RMoney claims on his taxes.

Yes, I know about the SS cap, Medicare is not capped.

I quoted actual CBO data. You are dead wrong about the 47% paying a higher rate of total federal taxes than Romney (as I said, a small number might). You are ignoring credits like the Earned Income Credit. Plus retired seniors don't pay into SS unless they are still working.

Becky wont see this, but why not just hang out on a right wing message board if you can't handle being confronted with your own statements or defend them?

Really? You don't think SS benefits are still subject to SS taxes?

Whether you like it or not....there ARE a ton of able bodied folks who prefer their welfare check to a job.
There are a ton of illegals riding on our dime hoping their free ride will continue.....

You might find it easy to "assume" what you think many others here believe but I prefer to think and speak for myself.....thank you.

Actually LJ, they aren't. We don't pay SS taxes, but we do pay income taxes on SS if our income is over a certain amount, and if we were both working a job and collecting SS we would pay both income taxes and FICA on those earnings. But the average senior pays no income tax, I guess we are freeloaders.

Some SS benefits are "income taxable" but I never remember them subject to payroll ss tax?

I've already proved in a previous thread that you are incapable of understanding or calculating income taxes.

From the IRS:

2. Generally, if Social Security benefits were your only income for 2010, your benefits are not taxable and you probably do not need to file a federal income tax return.

Yes, they may be taxable if you still work. But I already said that in my post. IDIOT!

You are wrong. Too bad you had to resort to your usual insults....because you now get the opportunity to look in the mirror and read your statement to yourself.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
